Professional Experience
Initially, after receiving his DDS degree, Dr. Morarend practiced general dentistry for five years before pursuing advanced training in Periodontics. Upon completing his residency in Periodontics at the University of Iowa, he maintained an active private periodontal practice in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, while also serving as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Periodontics Residency Program at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics.
In 2017, he established his Dubuque periodontal practice, Morarend Periodontics & Implant Dentistry.
With almost two decades of professional experience, he looks forward to partnering with you to provide exceptional dental care and put you at ease when you need to see a periodontist.
Personally
Married with children, Quinn Morarend’s wife (Cheryl) is Associate Professor, Physician Assistant Program at the University of Dubuque. His son and daughter are involved in basketball, boy scouts, dance, and show choir.

Lisa Buelow has more than a decade of experience in dental and periodontal dentistry offices as both a dental assistant and an office manager. Her one-on-one patient interactions are always caring and supportive and you’ll find her knowledge of billing and insurance extensive and helpful.

Married to David, who is employed by John Deere DubuqueWorks, they are parents to two active boys.
